Worst Day Of The New Year?

It’s hard to start this off with a somewhat negative approach, but things are what they are. I started this week with a nice case of strep throat. Its my fourth go round this year. So even as I type, it feels like I have two softballs in the back of my head blocking all food and fluids.
Then we have the storm of the century blow through today and give me the old 1-2 punch.
1. It destroyed my gazeebo
2. It took out my HVAC unti (thats going to be a joyous 500 dollar service call)
And last but not least, my wife bought several hundred dollars worth of clothes for our upcoming vacation, and they have somehow disappeared from our house. They grew legs and jumped into someones arms, who walked them kindly out the front door. Thats my theory.
In light of all that, the sun is still shinning on me, I still have a job, my family is still healthy, and I’m still covered by grace – which is more than anybody deserves in a lifetime.
Oh – by the way – this is going to be a blog on Adobe Flex, .NET, SQL Server and other wonderful technologies. That is, as soon as I can get over myself
